Base Vehicle :- Factory 130 Crew Cab Pick Up LHD 200tdi 1992

 

Having located a 100% Rust Free 130 Base from Spain where the vehicle had been there since new. We set about a Project Specture, aim to rebuild a close to New Condition as parts availability aloud us to.  

 

A running driving 100% rust free Spanish Defender !!!! What a fantastic Base vehicle to start with !!!!!!!

 

This has been a thorough nut and bolt refurbishment taking 12 months with intense detail applied. 

 

Stripped to a bare chassis (every last nut and bolt removed), bulkhead completely stripped again every last nut and bolt removed, sand blasted etched primed and powder coated, body completely stripped in individual components / sections.   

 

Mechanical drive train completely stripped and rebuilt, including gearbox / transfer box

These units were fully overhauled by city gearbox’s Land Rover Defender Specialist (reburb /overhaul for Military / Leading Land Rover suppliers world wide.

Fitted with all new wheel bearings / seals / gaskets / brake shoes and pads / disc’s and drums / hydraulic cylinders and callipers / all new brake lines and joints / new stainless braded Flexible Hose’s and coper sealing washers.

New Prop shaft  / joints

New swivel housings 

New swivel bearings and shimmed 

 

 

Engine :- 

 

Stripped and thoroughly inspected measured in our engineering shop.

Machined 

New seals, bearings pistons and rings / timing belt system including pulleys and tensioners, diesel injector pump fully overhauled and injectors by Bob Beck Fuel Injection, crank / flywheel and new clutch balanced. new water pump , new starter motor , new alternator , new pipe work and clips, new valve guides , seals , valve seats re-dressed and vacuum tested, new valve springs etc, very detailed and carefully reassembled by our in house competition engine specialist.

To By in Factory LHD 200tdi 130 1992 Base Trucks are far from cheap and then to carry out such an intensive detailed refurbishment is extremely costly, this has been a no expense spared Refurbishment which reflects in the price.
